ABOUT SHAUN

Shaun Ludlow is a passionate tutor, freelance drummer and percussionist offering classes both online and in person from his Home Studio in Edinburgh and with several tuition companies  (Farnham Music and Drama, Private Music Lessons Guildford, and Edinburgh School of music).

 

Originally from Essex he gained his Grade 8 Trinity Rock and Pop qualification before graduating with a BA in Music Industry Practice, from the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford in 2019.  A highly competent sight reader with a passion and skillset covering a wide variety of music genres.

Shaun is fully DBS checked and holds an NSPCC Safeguarding certificate as well as being an official Trinity teacher and Exam Centre.​

  • Soft skills are also a huge part of teaching and my strengths lie in teamwork, communication, adaptability, self-motivation and time management. My neurodivergence also allows me to have a unique perspective on fast-paced learning, problem solving as well as creativity, critical thinking and attention to detail.
